Spring has arrived and Chickadees flit between budding branches. Imagine warmer days and sunny morning drinking a generous cup of coffee or tea out of this mug. Cheerful black capped birds adorn a large handmade mug. Gray slip is carved through to the white claybody. Red glazed maple flowers give this design a subtle pop of color. The piece is finished with a gray glaze that shows hints of blue and brown. This chickadee design is one of my most popular. Handmade sgraffito pottery.
