A great blue heron set in a beautiful wetland decorates this large serving piece.  The textured rim picks up shapes from the cattail marsh.  White glaze over blue slip makes this piece feel clean and calm. This isn't a piece you will want to put into a cabinet and forget about it until you need it, which is why there is a hanging notch in the bottom foot.
